Policies and Shipping Information:
Tax: All orders placed online and shipped in Connecticut are subject to a 6.35% CT sales tax.
Shipping + Delivery: At Beach and Barn Furniture Studio, we offer free white glove delivery to most CT towns within 20 miles of Westbrook, CT. We also offer white glove delivery regionally along I-95 between Boston and New York City. Please call us directly to arrange for delivery.
If we need to ship your item, it will be crated and shipped via commercial carrier and charged based on shipping company fees. In this case, buyer will be responsible for unpacking and assembling. The table top and legs may be shipped separately along with the hardware for attachment. The tops will be predrilled and will indicate the location of the legs and screws.
*Some items may not be able to ship at all due to weight or fragility and will only be available for local delivery or pickup.

Payment: A 75% non refundable deposit is due at the time of order on all custom products. We take all major credit cards, cash, check, Paypal or Venmo. The balance is due the day before your item is shipped or delivered. We will coordinate with you to set up the delivery date ahead of time.
Returns and exchanges: We do not accept any returns or exchanges on custom orders. Please inspect your order carefully upon arrival. If there is damage to your product, please contact us immediately. Damage must be reported at time of receipt to be eligible for a return. In that case, we will evaluate the damage and process accordingly. We will work with you and the shipping company to resolve the issue. We will accept returns or exchanges on non custom products for store credit only. Buyer is responsible for any and all shipping charges to return and or replace any non damaged non custom items. Items must be returned within 7 days of receipt to get a store credit. Please contact us BEFORE you return your item.
If a table delivery is attempted and is returned as non-deliverable:
The receiver assumes any additional costs, fees and penalties from any primary or third parties involved.
A second delivery may not be available and will be at the discretion of Beach + Barn Furniture Studio.
Subsequent delivery attempts may be the responsibility of the receiver including handling of any paperwork, logistics with the shipping company, and any fees or extra costs that may occur.
Live edge hardwoods: The sizes that are stated are approximate. Live edge hardwood has some unique properties such as size variation, imperfections, and fluctuations in color. These unique properties add to the beauty and uniqueness of live edge hardwoods.
Our finishes: We use low voc and low odor Osmo products to finish our furniture unless otherwise stated or requested. “The products are based on rapidly renewable, natural vegetable oils that penetrate deeply into the wood, keeping it elastic and healthy, whilst preventing it from drying and becoming brittle.
